What You’ll Do

As a PSM Engineer Intern, you will gain experience through working with Engineers, Management and the Health and Safety team.

You will be part of a dynamic team who ensures the compliance with Company HSE Performance Standards, as well as applicable acts and regulations.

Other duties will include :

  • Demonstrate and / or lead the commitment to the pursuit of achieving Zero Harm through behavioral based safety
  • Live and foster the IPL Corporate Value, and Participate in BEx initiatives and activities
  • Assist with monitoring process safety efforts across the business or assigned location(s)
  • Support the team and manufacturing resources to resolve implement or delegate process safety requirements.
  • Learn best practices of facilitating of Process Hazard Analysis and Layers of Protection Analysis studies
  • Help with creating and tracking goals to measure for PSM program improvement

What We’re Looking For :

  • Junior level standing pursuing Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering
  • Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player

Duration : 10 - 12 weeks

  • Gain hands on working experience to demonstrate your educational skills and gain industry knowledge.
