Responsibilities
- Contact courts to request information beyond what is available on public index
- Coordinate the pulling and review of physical court files
- Conduct data processing, skip tracing, file retrieval, result analysis, and other investigative tasks
- Update AccurateACE and / or ATM with the information gathered from the courts and other data sources
- Liaison with Records and other departments, as needed, to complete assignment or obtain clarification
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years’ work experience (in an office environment), preferred
- Previous experience as a paralegal, law firm assistant, or court records researcher, preferred
- Familiarity with FCRA a plus
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate personal initiative, exercise sound judgment
- Have strong analytical abilities, be detail-oriented, and highly organized
- Meet established deadlines, while maintaining a high level of quality
- Possess strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (especially Outlook, Word, and Excel) and Internet research
- Type 45 WPM or greater
- Have reliable transportation / access to designated court locations
- Live within a 20 mile radius of designated courts
$20 - $23 an hourThe base pay for this position ranges from $20 - $23. Pay will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and relevant education and training.
This position may also be eligible for an annual performance-based bonus, commission, or other variable pay plan. The Company also offers a full range of benefits, including medical, dental, and 401k.
