This position will focus on strategies, growth, best practices, and general operations for The Granite YMCA as it relates to Membership and Health & Wellness.
The incumbent will further oversee several branches, their operations and supervise key branch leadership.

The Granite YMCA is a collection of several independent YMCAs that have merged over the last 25 years. Our general membership and health & wellness operations vary across our service area, but our branches have deep and strong ties to their communities.
The Granite YMCA has seen incredible growth in membership since the end of COVID, and our next strategic steps involve aligning our operations for continued growth.
We have a $ 26 million association with $6 million in membership revenue and 4 YMCAs with membership / fitness programs.
The position also oversees the Health Intervention branch and associated programs. These programs and services include Chronic Disease Management, Mood Lifters and Mental Health Support, and collaborations with other YMCAs, local hospitals, the federal government, and CDC.
Our Health Intervention programs have been recognized nationally and have strong knowledgeable leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or recreation management preferred, or equivalent combination of degree and / or experience
- Minimum of 7 years’ management experience, preferably with a YMCA or similar non-profit agency
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in related program management
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience overseeing a combination of membership, sales, retention, health and wellness services
- YMCA Multi-Team Leader certification or ability to obtain within two years
- Ability to establish and maintain collaborations with community organizations
- Possess strong organizational, interpersonal communication and relationship building skills
- Strong technical aptitude including Microsoft Office Suite, general computer and tablet functions
