Essential Duties include the following :
- Process wholesale titles
- Check in incoming used titles
- Processes all new and used vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled
- Prepares tax and title documents
- Submits all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles
- Verifies that funds have been collected and the correct lien holder paid off before processing title applications
- Checks for accuracy in the application and ensures that all information is complete
- Maintains a system to verify out-of-state titles
- Compiles and maintains a complete list of all outstanding title work.
Reports to management on the status of any missing or problem titles and provides a current list of outstanding titles to the comptroller at the end of month
- Maintains a professional appearance and a neat work area
- Schedule : 8 hour shift, Monday - Friday
- Other duties may be assigned
Skills Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior dealership or BMV experience preferred
- STRONG administrative skills
- EXCELLENT customer service and problem-solving skills
- ORGANIZED
- Office skills including personal computer, Microsoft products (Word for Windows, Excel, and Outlook), 10-key and the ability to accurately operate other office equipment
- Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills required
- Ability to work in a high performance, fast-paced team environment
- Ability to adapt to and work effectively within a constantly changing environment
- Data entry skills
