The basics of this position :

Theatre Production Assistants assist the Theatre Staff to ensure successful running of events, theatre productions, and theatre building operations, by supervising and / or crewing the required tech position as needed & on call.

What you'll do :

Provide technical support to successfully operate the theatre during in-house campus events, theatre rental events, and campus theatre productions.

Duties may include the following : planning, designing, and implementing lighting, sound, scenery, video projections, costumes, etc.

to support theatre productions.

Education, experience, and other requirements :

Associate Degree or equivalent and three years relevant full-time experience.

Must exhibit excellent communications skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups.

Ability to use standard office equipment.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications :

B.A. Degree in Technical Theatre
