Job Scope / Outline
In this pivotal role reporting to the CFO, you'll shape and implement our client's technology strategy, driving innovation and operational excellence.
You'll lead their IT department, collaborating with C-level executives to leverage technology for business growth and process improvement in the construction industry.
Duties
- Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with business goals
- Lead selection and implementation of innovative technology solutions
- Ensure security, integrity, and availability of IT systems and data
- Manage IT department budget and resources
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
- Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to construction
- Develop and maintain key technology vendor relationships
- Ensure compliance with IT regulations and industry standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 10+ years of progressive experience in IT leadership roles
- Strong understanding of current and emerging technologies, especially in construction
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to develop and implement strategic IT initiatives
- Experience in managing IT budgets, vendor relationships, and complex projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- MBA or other advanced degree
- Experience in the construction industry
- Knowledge of IT security best practices and regulatory compliance
- Track record of successful digital transformation initiatives
- Experience with data analytics and business intelligence tools
