Responsibilities :
The HR team provides expert guidance on legislative compliance and align company policies with business goals. Drive HR initiatives, foster engagement, and collaborate on talent recruitment and development.
Handle employee relations with fairness, lead change initiatives, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role supports multiple functions at Celanese Corporate Office.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide guidance and counseling regarding legislative, regulatory and compliance issues including company policies, practices and procedures in order to achieve business goals and objectives and consistency across business functions.
- Proactively identify business and HR objectives / expectations; develop, manage or participate in project teams as appropriate to achieve desired results in a timely manner.
- Create the right environment as a champion for HR initiatives, employee advocacy, building a culture of engagement while partnering with Center of Excellence teams in support and guidance of talent recruitment, organization design, employee development, pay planning, talent review and succession planning, as applicable.
- Provide oversight to resolve employee relations issues in a balanced, fair, and objective manner, using appropriate counseling, investigative, intervention and other problem resolution techniques.
- Partner and consult with managers to drive change initiatives that enhance business performance.
- Proactively identify business and HR objectives / expectations; develop, manage or participate in project teams as appropriate to achieve desired results in a timely manner.
- This position will support the Celanese Corporate Office across multiple functions.
Qualifications : Required
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field.
- 3-7 years of experience in Human Resource Management.
- HR experience in a complex organization with diverse cultures, and operating environments, including experience providing forward-facing strategic recommendations and working with senior leadership.
- Broad HR Generalist background with experience in multiple disciplines such as employee relations, workforce planning, talent management, talent development, performance management, compensation, and more.
- Experience in organizational development and change management.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with quickly shifting priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport and influence at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and to manage time effectively.
- Knowledgeable of Federal and state employment laws and demonstrated ability to apply knowledge across the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively partner with HR colleagues in delivering business solutions
