IT Training Specialist - PPS

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Senior Training Specialist to support our client’s contract needs. This position is located in San Antonio and will be a fully remote position.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop distance learning using multimedia development tools.
• Edit documents using a set of vetted guidelines.
• Collaborate with a creative, synergetic team.
• Provide subject matter knowledge to other teams.
• Produce professional quality work within tight deadlines and evolving priorities.
• Partner with other subject matter experts to obtain information, validate content, and evaluate the effectiveness of course delivery.
• Utilize training tools and technologies to deliver cutting edge design solutions.
• Facilitate and coordinate the development of training materials.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 6 - 8 years (or commensurate experience)

Required Skills and Experience

A minimum of 6 years of experience specifically in a training development role.

Clearance Required : Must have current AOUSC Public Trust.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience training adult learners in the field of Probation and Pretrial Services.
• Knowledge and good understanding of the Probation and Pretrial Services Automated Case Tracking System (PACTS).
• Work and interact with others in a team environment.
• Accuracy and attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).

Posted Salary Range

The posted pay range reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity.

The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process.

If hired, employee will be in an at-will position and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department / team performance, and market factors.

USD $71,150.00 - USD $80,000.00 / Yr.
