As a Registered Nurse, job duties range from but are not limited too :
- Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care.
- Assists physicians during examinations and procedures.
- Uses independent judgment to ensure optimal delivery of patient care and appropriate use of available resources.
- Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
- Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Ensures that Western Arizona Regional Medical Center's values are reflected in all aspects of the department's operation.
Participation in a rotating call schedule is required.
- Participation in a rotating call schedule is required.
- May be cross trained and floated to ICU as needed.
- Performs a variety of tasks.
Requirements :
- License : Active Valid RN License
- Schedule : Flexibility to cover shifts
Preferences :
- Education : BSN
- Experience : 1 year as RN in dialysis
- Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
