Duties :
- Conducting thorough legal research and analysis on a variety of tax matters.
- Drafting legal documents such as memoranda, agreements, and opinions.
- Providing support to senior attorneys in transactional tax matters.
- Collaborating closely with securities and finance lawyers within the firm.
- Interacting with investment bankers, financial advisors, and government officials nationwide on tax-related issues.
Requirements :
- Admitted to practice law in California.
- Preferably 2-4 years of experience in tax law.
- Strong understanding of transactional tax principles.
Education :
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications :
Any relevant tax certifications are advantageous.
Skills :
- Proficiency in utilizing legal research tools and databases.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
