Overview :
Reporting to the within Tilray IT, the Website Administrator will help establish a security / technology baseline for all websites across Tilray Brands.
You will be responsible for maintaining the baseline architecture across all sites moving forward, determining a migration / upgrade plan for existing sites, and working with other teams to ensure these standards are followed.
Once the baseline architecture has been implemented, your day-to-day tasks will include minor website changes, supporting conversations with vendors, performing security patching / testing, and keeping ahead of the evolving web landscape
Key Accountabilities :
- Testing / executing security updates to hosting platforms / CMS / plugins
- Creating and maintaining an index of websites, technical details, vendors, and owners
- Establishing guidelines for working with web vendors and ensuring that they are following best practices for design and change management
- Working with other IT teams to help establish a preferred list of web technologies
- Working with the business / vendors to consolidate hosting to preferred technologies
- Working with the IT Ops team to manage infrastructure changes
- Working with the security team to maintain a consistent level of security across hosting and CMS platforms
- Establishing / maintaining a baseline web accessibility standard to comply with AODA and other global accessibility guidelines as required
- Monitor site security; reports suspected or actual security breaches and denial of service attacks to appropriate staff
- Managing hosting providers - spinning up new sites, granting access to vendors, etc.
- Making minor changes to the websites
- Managing hosting / vendor budgets
- Providing analytics information to as requested
- Coordinating / managing new website launches
- Website break-fix
Qualifications and Educat ion Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Design, or 2+ years equivalent work experience
- Experience managing hosting providers : AWS, Azure
- Experience administrating CMS platforms such as WordPress, Square
- Basic web development experience : HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP
- Vendor lifecycle management experience
- Experience working in an ITGC environment
- Website accessibility audits. AODA or WCAG 2.1
- REST web API experience is an asset
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
