Bumble Inc. is looking for a Senior Manager to join the corporate communications team to lead in developing external communications programs that drive impactful stakeholder management and promote business initiatives that showcase our mission to become a connections company with products that bring people together throughout their lives;

backed by world class technology solutions and product innovations. Your role will primarily support Bumble's marquee dating app, but this role oversees corporate communications for the suite of products offered by Bumble Inc.

You'll play an important role in shaping the corporate narrative around our brand in the dynamic landscape of the dating industry, and will lead on promoting Bumble Inc.

in ways that showcase our commitment to healthy and equal relationships, as well as be responsible for developing our business narrative with financial media and investors.

The role location can be U.S. remote (Austin, TX or New York City preferred), and must work Eastern or Central time zone hours to best collaborate with our hub in London.

Up to 10% travel may be required.

What You'll Do :

  • Development of external communication strategies - create and execute on comprehensive external communication strategies that align with the core values of Bumble Inc.

This includes both always-on and dedicated external communications campaigns

Advocacy and social impact - a key focus of this role will be promoting the social impact and philanthropic efforts of Bumble Inc.

including contributing to our annual Impact Report and Proxy Statement. This work will be in close partnership with our Director of Social Impact and Sustainability, our Head of Diversity, Equity and Belonging, and related teams

Executive profiling, thought leadership and content development - develop and execute external communications strategies to support Bumble Inc.

executives, such as our Chief People Officer; and create compelling content and thought leadership pieces that showcase Bumble Inc.

s unique position within the dating industry and the broader online relationships landscape

Investor relations support - collaborate with Bumble Inc.'s investor relations team to ensure consistent messaging to shareholders, financial analysts and press;

lead on developing our narrative around business growth

  • Corporate reputation building - have a strong focus on building the corporate reputation of Bumble Inc.; lead on the development and maintenance of our corporate website
  • Media relations - cultivate and maintain relationships with relevant journalists, influencers, and key opinion leaders to secure positive media coverage and thought leadership opportunities.

This also includes proactive media outreach and managing inbound media inquiries

  • Be a sounding board and thought partner for key internal cross-functional partners, ensuring that all ideas are viewed with an earned media approach and align with corporate objectives
  • Support the culture of communications as a mission-oriented and user-centric organization

About You :

  • 5-8 years of communications experience, with a proven track record of leading the corporate narrative for consumer brands
  • The ability to think strategically and create opportunities for a values-led brand in the corporate landscape
  • Strong media relations skills including relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers
  • Exceptional writing skills for crafting clear, compelling, and accurate communications across various platforms and formats
  • Proficiency in leveraging digital platforms and social media for strategic communication purposes. This includes understanding social media trends, managing online reputation, and engaging with stakeholders effectively
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, industry trends, and organizational priorities. This includes being flexible in response to emerging issues and adjusting communication strategies accordingly
  • Capacity to approach challenges with creativity and innovation, finding strategic solutions to complex communication issues
  • Understanding of global media and cultural landscapesProject management skills to prioritize tasks and align across teams
  • Familiarity with consumer tech, mobile apps and consumer products
  • You are comfortable in a fast-paced environment where you communicate daily with world class talent from our global teams including communications, marketing, social impact, people and culture, legal, investor relations, finance and safety
  • You are positive and committed with a 'can-do' attitude and a flexible approach
  • You are a problem solver and a forward thinker
