Job Description
Elbit America’s Precision Combat Systems (PCS) division is recruiting for a Manager Business Development PCS. Seeking a strong business development professional with a proven record of accomplishment focusing on customer engagement, requirements shaping, product / technology roadmaps and new business generation with 10+ years of relevant experience working in the market areas of Radio Frequency (RF), Terminal phase munitions and multi-mode seeker systems.
This position will interface across air and land and naval services and represent a wide portfolio of PCS technologies.
Responsibilities & Tasks :
- Manage business development activities for PCS.
- Lead and / or assist in the development of an on-going 5-year strategic roadmap supporting new business in this area.
- Make recommendations and develop action plans to position Elbit Systems with future procurements and programs.
- Identify and lead partnering opportunities with Prime Contractors and DoD commands and labs for development and integration of ESA seekers.
- Assess the emerging technological areas, with a focus on above mentioned technologies, with "up front" Elbit America (EA) involvement by establishing personal relationships with various DoD agencies and labs.
- Assess annual service budgets and long range plans (Program Objective Memorandum) to recommend key areas to target within the service and which are in line with the ESA long-range roadmap.
- Partnering with Field Marketing colleagues to establish personal and professional relationships with the DoD acquisition offices and service staffs.
- Establish and maintain direct, personal relationships with key industry and government customers.
- Establish and maintain similar cross-business unit and cross-affiliate relationships
- Ability to deal with complex problems in an international environment of cultural diversity
- Champion Go / No-Go assessments, as well as campaign plans for areas targeted by platform level solutions of strategic importance.
- Continuously assess capabilities (current and emerging) against customer requirements

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required.
Master’s degree preferred with 10 years of business development experience
Security Clearance Required : Secret
- Must be a team player, independent thinker, able to multi-task and communicate.
- Detailed knowledge of how DoD materiel requirements are generated and acquired is required.
- Previous experience in the DoD acquisition process, including DoD program and / or acquisition office, is desirable
- A strong work ethic coupled with good business sense.
- A management style that leads by example and the ability to serve as a team player that can focus on the business objectives of the organization.
- Knowledge of export / import regulations (ITAR, etc.) is a plus.
- Able to grow / seed requirements at the end user level to develop new opportunities
- Strategic planning experience is a plus.
