JanTech Building Services, Inc. Janitorial Working Team Lead

Cleveland, Ohio Heavy Industrial Manufacturing Facility

Schedule : Monday Friday 5 : 00pm to 9 : 00pm

Pay Rate : $18 an hour

Responsibilities :

Our team along with the Working Supervisor cleans break rooms, lunch rooms, offices, lobby, rest rooms, stairwells and corridors throughout the plant.

Tasks include vacuuming or mopping floors, emptying trash containers, scrubbing and disinfecting restroom fixtures, disinfecting counter top and plumbing fixtures, dusting window sills, spot cleaning interior glass surfaces, spot cleaning highly touched surfaces, etc.

Janitorial Working Team Lead :

• Assist in the coordination of janitorial staff assigned to a customer sites, such as work plans and making sure all the cleaning at the client’s facility are covered.
• The working team lead is the point of contact for the janitorial team working at customer site. Communicate employee needs and concerns to management team.

This includes discussing items like work quality, areas of particular focus, special project work requests, etc.

• Interfacing with customer representatives as needed to address customer requests and concerns.
• Provide a daily report to the management covering any communication with our customers representatives, our employees and addressing that daily cleaning activities are completed correctly.
• Assist with hands on training, specific to the janitorial work required at a customer site, with regular employees. Do follow up training when necessary.
• Conduct janitorial work quality inspections through-out assigned customer sites to ensure that scopes of work are being completed in a consistent manner.

This includes evaluating the thoroughness of sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, glass spot removal, waste basket emptying, plumbing fixture cleaning / disinfecting, etc.

• Follow up with janitorial team members on inspection findings in a positive manner with refresher training and reminders.
• Manage company’s on-site janitorial tools, supplies, chemical inventory and consumables. Communicate supply needs to management team for ordering.

General Information :

JanTech Building Services, Inc. is a janitorial service contractor completing day to day facility cleaning services at offices and factories throughout Ohio.

This particular job is Monday through Friday during first shift. Employees must establish and maintain a consistent work schedule.

Each person that chooses to join our team is a direct employee of JanTech. Wages are paid on a bi-weekly basis, 26 pays per year, with Federal, State and Local tax withholdings processed through payroll.

Direct deposit of pay is required.
