Overview :
As the Executive Housekeeper, you will oversee all aspects of the housekeeping operations, ensuring that the hotel's high standards are consistently met.
Your leadership will be pivotal in delivering memorable and unique guest experiences and fostering a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for all visitors.
Your expertise and attention to detail will help maintain the luxury and elegance that our guests expect and deserve.
Key Accountabilities :
People
- Direct daily activities, plan, and assign work, ensuring appropriate staffing levels.
- Develop your team through coaching and feedback, and create performance and development goals for colleagues while recognizing good performance.
- Educate and train all team members in compliance with federal, state, and local laws and safety regulations. Ensure staff are properly trained and equipped to carry out job duties.
- Assist with deep cleaning projects and support housekeeping staff during high-volume periods as needed.
Guest Experience
- Ensure the quality of housekeeping and laundry services is always superb.
- Schedule routine inspections of all guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of furnishings, equipment, linens, public restrooms, lobby, etc.
- Address special requests from guests, VIPs, repeat visitors, and club members.
- Assist guests with their questions and complaints to achieve complete satisfaction.
- Maintain a professional appearance and wear your uniform with pride.
Responsible Business
- Maintain and order supplies and equipment while minimizing waste and supporting green initiatives (e.g., container recycling and eco-friendly cleaning agents).
- Reunite items with owners and log any lost and found property.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including serving as manager on duty when needed.
Financial
- Assist in preparing and monitoring the hotel's annual budget with a focus on increasing profitability.
- Maintain proper inventory levels, managing cost per room for supplies and labor.
- Fulfill special requests from guests, VIPs, repeat visitors, and club members.
Key Skills & Experiences
- High School Diploma / secondary education / equivalent.
- Four years' housekeeping / laundry experience, preferably including supervisory experience. Some college preferred.
- Fluency in the local language is required; additional languages are preferred.
