This position supports the annual fundraising efforts of Pitt Athletics through the management of a portfolio of Panther Club members who contribute $1,000-$9,999 annually to Pitt Athletics.
They will have supervisory responsibilities over the Annual Giving Coordinator role.
Job Summary
Develops, implements, and supports programs and policies across the integrated Division of Philanthropic & Alumni Engagement to build lifelong relationships that support and enhance fundraising and active audience engagement.
Provides stewardship for annual, leadership, major, and principal gift donors and supports a standardized communication strategy for recognition of smaller gift donors.
Writes individualized communications plans and donor relations communications efforts. Executes meetings and events that advance donor engagement and involvement.
Participates in strategic and long-range planning and manages event budgets and portfolios.
Essential Functions
Maintain a portfolio of lead annual giving donors who contributed $1,000-$9,999 annually to Pitt Athletics to maximize retention and growth of the Panther Club membership.
Solicit annual philanthropic contributions from Pitt Football and Men’s Basketball Season Ticket Holders. Supervisory responsibilities for Annual Giving Coordinator role (1 person).
Will be responsible for working at Pitt Athletics Game Day competitions as well as Panther Club Signature Events.
Physical Effort
Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time. May need to lift equipment, mail, or supplies up to 50 pounds.
