We are seeking a skilled and experienced Facility Maintenance Assistant join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in maintaining the overall functionality of our facilities, providing routine maintenace to our buildings and grounds, and assisting with construction tasks and other special projects (e.
g. concrete pours, painting, etc) as needed. This position reports to our Project Manager.
Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in United States.
- Valid Driver's License (Required for eligibility to operate company equipment)
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in construction, maintenance, or similar field.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 25 lbs repeatedly, all day long.
- Able to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Capable of standing, bending, and climbing for extended periods of time
- Comfortable working in various environmental conditions, including all weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and lighting.
- Perform minor repairs and address maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Prepare and set up for concrete pours, including formwork, reinforcement, and mixing. Perform post-pour cleanup and maintenance of equipment.
- Support various special projects as assigned, which may include facility upgrades, equipment installations, and other projects.
- Other tasks as requested
Non-Exempt. Range varies dependent on skill and experience
