We’re currently seeking an Optometrist to join our amazing team.
Details of the Optometrist opening :
- Anticipated start date : ASAP
- Salary Range : $500 / day
- Anticipated duration of assignment : 26 weeks
- Anticipated schedule : PT / 1 day per week
Daily Range of Responsibilities of the Optometrist :
- Review pertinent medical history documentation and perform one-time, non-treatment vision compensation and pension exams for Veterans.
- Capture responses during exam through a web-based examination form; All documentation is completed electronically.
- Visual Field Testing may be required and all equipment will be supplied.
- Exams are a comprehensive eye exam to evaluate for loss of vision, glaucoma, injury to eye, etc. No refractive services.
Qualifications for the Optometrist :
- Must be an actively licensed Optometrist or Ophthalmologist.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team, have good interpersonal skills and willingness to be flexible and adapt to changing situations.
- Must possess basic computer skills and be able to complete online documentation.
- Compensation exam or VA experience is preferred, but not required.
- Current CPR and BLS.
- All applicants must be fully vaccinated per the CDC and State guidelines.
