Position Summary
The Director of Marketing is responsible for identifying and creating marketing communications and public relations opportunities, driving development, lead generation and fulfillment, planning and implementation of a robust marketing plan.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic yearly marketing plans / budget and track progress monthly.
- Create SEO and PPC campaigns and report progress with ROI updates.
- Translate business unit objectives and strategies to develop brand portfolio objectives, strategies and plans to facilitate business unit growth.
- Work with the sales team to understand leads and marketing assistance needed to overachieve yearly sales revenue budgets.
- Manage and develop the marketing team using KPI's and goals.
- Create timeline and action items for new brand refresh.
- Implement new digital marketing programs to help with lead generation and qualification.
- Use social media (advertising, editorials) to increase brand awareness and lead generation.
- Develop and administer marketing campaigns with tracking in CRM.
- Build, develop, and mentor a marketing team which is competent, commercially astute, dedicated, and efficient.
- Manage day to day activity with PR, press and marketing communications vendors and partners.
- Manage and grow PR list and relationships.
- Collaborate with other departments to create our five-year strategic business and revenue plan.
Required Skills / Abilities
- Must be a confident communicator and presenter.
- Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout and design, professional printing / publishing skills are essential, including ability to present concepts verbally.
- Must possess excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Superior project management and time management skills.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital media / social media.
- Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach to management.
- Ability to manage a nationwide team at multiple sites.
- Use data driven analysis to set and measure goals, KPI's, and action plans.
Education And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 5-7 years of marketing experience
This is a full-time position; typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
