Job Description : Soliant Health is currently seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in Sonoma, California.
As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with individuals of K-12 ages to promote independence and improve their ability to perform daily activities and tasks.
You will assess patients' functional abilities, develop personalized treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions to enhance their quality of life.
Qualifications :
- Master's degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid license to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of California
- Previous experience in an educational setting
- IEP experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities :
- Conducting comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional functioning
- Developing individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals
- Implementing therapeutic interventions to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, coordination, and activities of daily living
- Providing education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment to enhance independence
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes
- Documenting patient progress, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to regulatory requirements
