We are looking for a DevOps Analyst who will be responsible for ensuring timely and effective resolution to all POS Support calls by providing technical and procedural support, serving as an escalation point for critical issues.

Pay range is $75,200 - $80,000

Please note the pay range for this position starts as listed in the job posting, but other factors such as an individual’s education, location, meeting the minimum job requirements for the role, training, and experience, will determine the final salary for potential new hires.

WHAT YOU'LL DO :

• Deploy and support custom code and script as necessary to update and maintain POS application systems.
• Facilitate the QA process / Environments for product development teams while remaining flexible to individual team needs.
• Interact with development teams to help implement optimized and re-usable functional test automation / QA processes.
• Maintain the release plan for the QA portion of the Continuous Integration pipeline.
• Maintain store systems environments / applications are performing internal audits, and participating in external audits.
• Knowledge and experience with QA / Automation tools and networking tools support the technical QA processes involved with POS systems & peripherals
• Identifies escalation situations and escalates them timely and accurately.
• Serves as an initial point of contact on team support and stores systems technical issues.
• Coordinates issue resolution with other support areas, as required.
• Calls software and hardware vendors to request service regarding defective products.
• Cross trains Helpdesk analysts with updated procedures and troubleshooting guidelines.
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

WHAT YOU'LL NEED :

• A minimum of 3+ years of practical experience with retail store systems implementation. Retail experience is a must.
• A bachelor's degree in computer sciences or related field.
• Experience utilizing patch management software, such as Symantec Altiris or SCCM & MDM.
• Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Batch, VBScript, etc.
• Experience automating and streamlining build, test, and deployment phases for continuous integration
• Experience in Agile / SCRUM enterprise-scale software development, including working with GiT, JIRA, Confluence, etc.
• Experience administering automated build environments such as Jenkins and Hudson
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in CI / CD design and automation to facilitate continuous delivery and deployment
• Experience configuring and deploying logging and monitoring services.
• Comprehensive knowledge or technical exposure on store point of sale peripherals like a receipt printer, Pinpad, point of sale systems.
• Flexibility working after hours during planned POS application deployments.
• Comprehensive knowledge with Microsoft Windows imaging / snapshot, backup recovery procedures, WAN,MS Access report, Adobe Creative Suite, mobile device management.
• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of one or more core business concepts in the following areas : Merchandising, Planning, and Store Operations.
