Job Opportunity : Neonatologist

Join a well-respected and established Neonatology practice located in vibrant Wichita, Kansas. This practice is looking for a dedicated Neonatologist to become part of their evolving quality improvement (QI) team-based management opportunity. The position offers a unique chance to engage in an expanding practice, known as a "Diamond in the rough" opportunity in Neonatology!

Job Responsibilities :

• Full-time BC / BE Neonatologist position available
• Join an 8-physician practice at a Level-III, 60-bed NICU within Wesley Medical Center
• Work a combination of 8 and 24-hour shifts on a 7-week rotating schedule (1.0 FTE does approximately 170 hours of in-house coverage per month)
• Provide in-house call and backup call from home
• Participate in a facility managing approximately 6,000 deliveries each year
• Handle intensive and special care with an average of 1,000 admissions annually and an average daily census of 54
• Experience all services except ECMO and heart surgery, supported by residents and nurse practitioners
• Engage with the KU School of Medicine - Wichita, offering extensive QI and research opportunities
• Open to new Fellow graduate candidates if already BC in Pediatrics
• Note : Not accepting Locums candidates; Open to J1 & H1B visa candidates
