Warehouse Laborer

Warehouse Laborer Job Summary :
This position is responsible for maintaining order on the shipping and receiving dock area. The person in this position is responsible for inspecting, labeling and processing product.
The person occupying this position is responsible for checking product and either cleaning for shipment or covering for storage.
Warehouse Laborer Duties / Responsibilities :
- Assisting Material Handlers by running / staging pallets
- Prepare product for placing in storage (cap and wrap)
- Complete Extra Charge Sheets on inbound and outbound orders
- Inspect received product to ensure they are damage free
- Label case product accordingly for direct to client shipments
- Assist inventory control as needed
- Aid janitorial team as directed
- Organize warehouse areas to maximize product storage
Warehouse Laborer Required Skills / Abilities :
Attention to detail and strong organization skills
Warehouse Laborer Education and Experience :
Preferred : High School Diploma
Warehouse Laborer Physical and / or Travel Requirements :
- Prolonged periods of standing, bending and turning in cold conditions
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
