The Controls Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining PLC / HMI systems. The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of experience in PLC / HMI programming and VFD servo drive experience.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, program, and maintain PLC and HMI systems for manufacturing and production equipment.
- Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and maintenance on control systems to ensure minimal downtime and optimal operation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical and electrical engineers, to develop integrated control solutions.
- Conduct system testing and validation to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Provide technical support and training to maintenance and production staff on control systems and automation technologies.
- Participate in the design and implementation of new control systems and upgrades to existing systems.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in PLC / HMI programming and VFD control systems.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Block Diagram.
- Strong understanding of control systems, automation, and industrial network protocols.
- Experience with various PLC platforms (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi) and HMI software (e.g., Wonderware, Ignition).
