We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining financial records and ensuring that financial transactions are accurately recorded.

• Responsibilities*
• Conduct bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial data
• Reconcile A / P and A / R
• Monitor, analyze and reconcile prepaid expenses, miscellaneous receivables
• Utilize QuickBooks software for financial data management
• Apply double-entry bookkeeping principles to record financial transactions
• Assist in balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
• Support financial auditing processes by preparing documentation and reports
• Contribute to the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Develop an understanding of securities law and corporate finance practices
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing
• Assist in DOT and Motor Carrier reporting and certifications
• Skills*
• Proficiency in bank reconciliation processes
• Experience in cash flow analysis techniques
• Familiarity with QuickBooks software for financial management
• Understanding of double-entry bookkeeping principles
• Ability to perform balance sheet reconciliations accurately
• Strong skills in financial auditing and report writing
• Knowledge of securities law and corporate finance concepts
• Easily adapt to new software

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $24.00 + per hour (Commensurate with experience)

Expected hours : 40 per week

Education :

Bachelors Degree in Accounting

Experience :

• GAAP : 1 year (Preferred)
• Accounting Employment : 3 - 5 years

Language :

Bilingual (Spanish) (Preferred)
