Ameren IL Key Account Executive
Ameren Illinois provides electric transmission and distribution service and natural gas distribution service. Every day, we deliver electricity to 1.2 million electric and 816,000 natural gas customers in central and southern Illinois. We deliver safe, reliable energy to more than 1,200 communities.
Ameren IL Key Account Executive is responsible for developing a comprehensive understanding of the business activities, financial health and strategic direction of selected Key Accounts (large industrial and commercial customers) in order to develop strong working relationships, implement integrated business objectives focusing on improved customer services and enhanced profitability for both parties. In addition, the Key Account Executive is a first-line representative responsible for implementing Ameren Illinois' proactive community and business development services to create and sustain revenue growth, support public strategy implementation and help foster positive community stewardship on behalf of Ameren. Key responsibilities include :
Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Accounting or related field from an accredited college or university required. MBA preferred. Five or more years of relevant experience (utility, rates, financial, etc.) required with three years of relevant relationship management, engineering, accounting, sales and / or customer service experience. Required experience in managing projects across multiple departments. In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate : Proficiency with MS Office Suite of applications. Strong Excel skills, maneuverability within SharePoint Site and Ameren customer portals preferred. Understanding of Ameren rates and Illinois' regulatory environment preferred. Thorough knowledge of CSS, OAS, Ameren Portals, and Byers mapping preferred. Knowledge in the basic concepts of electricity and natural gas. Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated, solve problems, analytical skills, make decisions and be proactive. Must be a strong communicator that shows attention to details. Strong presentation, oral and written communications skills required. Prior experience in the economic development space is highly desirable.
Compensation Range : $86,400.00 - $133,900.00
At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
