As our firm expands, we’re ranked st as the Fastest Growing Firms in the ’ by Accounting Today, we have an opportunity for an experienced tax partner looking to make an impact in our Corporate , which is focused on tax compliance, planning, and provision outsourcing for middle-market, private equity backed, and public companies.

This challenging and highly visible role may be based out of most of our offices, or potentially fully remote within the contiguous United States.

Limited travel should be expected.

This experienced partner will collaborate with the firm’s corporate tax partners to help deliver quality client service, drive operational results, coach and develop professionals, and grow the practice through business development efforts and expansion of services to existing clients.

Previous service line, market, or industry leadership experience is desirable.

You'll also be responsible for providing tax and consulting services / projects to an existing client base. Industry experience in Private Equity, Technology / Life Sciences, Industrials / Consumer Goods, or similar is preferred.

International or M&A tax related experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute the Firm and Tax Service Line vision, strategy, and goals for the firm corporate tax practice.
• Ensure discipline around execution of Service Line business processes and Firm business practices for the corporate tax practice.
• Help manage the utilization and productivity of professionals in the corporate tax practice to achieve operational and financial targets.
• Utilize leadership skills, acting as a role model, to provide coaching, mentoring, and training in the development of professionals within the practice and help build a talent pipeline with the requisite technical expertise.
• Consistently grow the practice through expansion of services to existing clients, cross selling with other tax and advisory practices, and obtaining new clients.

Qualifications :

• Active CPA and / or JD license required; MST or LLM is a plus.
• Experience as a tax partner, providing federal, multi-state, international tax-related compliance and consulting services, for a Big , large national, or regional accounting firm with a demonstrated record of having provided leadership, client service, and business expansion.
• Technical ASC experience including expertise in corporate tax compliance, planning, and provision.
• Experience with helping to develop the strategy and plans to grow a practice through expansion of services to existing clients and obtaining new clients.
• Exceptional client service skills leading to the highest quality of execution and delivery of client engagements.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and empower people and teams.
• Excellent and enthusiastic ability to build and maintain relationships, engage others, and establish connections.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
