Responsible for the overall effective performance of multiple practice Area Health Education Center locations including management of staff, workflow development, patient schedule management, provider and staff engagement, patient experience, financial performance, billing compliance and inventory control management.
Description of Duties Manages multiple practice operations and coordinates activities to ensure efficiency and quality service is delivered within all sections of the clinic;
ensuring compliance with regulations and standards with day to day managing, planning and coordination at all sites.Works closely with Department Chairpersons and Administrators to coordinate clinical sites and departmental activities / faculty as needed.
Manages all clinical personnel. This position is responsible for the recruitment, development and supervision of staff and takes corrective action as appropriate.
Plans, prepares and manages work schedules of personnel managed.Works with administration and decision support for Return on Investment (ROI) reports to develop / modify / supply, personnel / staffing needs, capital equipment, and special program budgets.
Develops practice operational plans and budgets (capital and operations) and implements performance improvement strategies within the practice.
Ensures appropriate information is gathered and transmitted in support of billing functions and assists with annual budget preparation.
Serves as point of contact for patient and external customer complaints. Reconciles and investigates all complaints relating to practice operations and patient satisfaction.
Manages office supplies and ensures the ordering of needed supplies to maintain inventory within budget.Maintains documentation as required by regulatory agencies, policies, and procedures.
Coordinates maintenance and repairs of clinic area, equipment, and instruments.Effectively communicates strategies to solve and facilitate simple and complex situations which enhance the culture and performance of the practice.
Performs all duties in a manner that promotes teamwork and reflects the mission and values of UT Health RGV.Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education Bachelor’s degree in Business or Healthcare Administration or related field from an accredited university.
Preferred Education Master of Business Administration or Master of Health Administration. Licenses / Certifications None.
Required Experience Four years of experience in healthcare administration or closely related field. Specialized healthcare management experience may be substituted for education on a 2-for-1 basis.
Preferred Experience Experience in financial and business development Equipment Use of standard office equipment. Exceptional computer experience and skills required including the use of Microsoft Office.
Working Conditions Needs to be able to successfully perform all required duties. Office / healthcare environment; some travel and weekend work is required.
