Job Title : Food Prep Assistant for Individual with Developmental Disability and Seizure Disorder
Support Broker Services, LLC is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Prep Assistant to support an individual with a developmental disability and seizure disorder in meal preparation, focusing on the keto diet.
This position requires attention to detail, knowledge of the keto diet, and a compassionate approach to working with individuals with unique dietary and health needs.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare meals and snacks according to the guidelines of the keto diet that help reduce seizure activity.
- Ensure meals are nutritionally balanced and meet the dietary requirements of the individual.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and caregivers to create meal plans tailored to the individual's needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Primarily work independently.
Requirements :
- Previous experience in food preparation, particularly with the keto diet.
- Knowledge of special dietary requirements for individuals with developmental disabilities and seizure disorders.
- Compassion, patience, and empathy when working with individuals with unique needs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team when needed.
Schedule : 8 to 10 hours per week
Salary Range : $15.75 per hour
