Core Responsibilities :
- Respond to internet, live chat and phone inquiries promptly using phone, email and texting to generate sales appointments
- Log daily sales lead activities in the CRM and follow up with customers who are not ready to make an appointment
- Converting visitors into customers by understanding their needs and interests, and pairing them with a vehicle best suited for their lifestyle
- Perform professional vehicle demonstrations, staying up-to-date on product offerings, optional packages, and latest technology, and organize test drives
- Assist customers with completing sales and financing paperwork
- Deliver sold vehicles to the customer, ensuring they understand all of their new vehicle's technology and features
Desired Qualifications and Experience :
- Previous success in automotive sales is preferred, but not necessary
- Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills, both in person and over the phone
- Achievement driven with a strong work ethic
- Ability to think from the customer’s perspective and respond to objections with empathy
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
Hours and Work Environment
The Sales Department is open Monday Friday 8am to 9pm and Saturday 8am 8pm.
We ask that all applicants have flexible availability to work any of the days and times listed above.
This is an onsite position, and requires working with customers in person as well as online and over the phone.
Sales Consultants report to the Sales Management team.
