Vaco is working with an industry leading client in Radnor that is looking for a Tax Compliance Manager. The focus will be on Federal and State corporate tax returns and tax research.

We are looking for someone with extensive knowledge of tax laws, tax requirements, ASC 740, and ASC 980. Ideal candidates will be able to train and lead a team while directing and overseeing companywide federal and state corporate tax compliance, tax research, and risk analysis.

You will also support other tax compliance projects including accounting method changes and appeals, assist in implementing, documenting, and improving proper tax accounting procedures, and assure that methods and procedures developed will limit the Company’s exposure in the event of audit.

There will also be a heavy focus on :

  • Determining the tax basis of assets necessary to record acquisitions through analysis of historical tax filings.
  • Researching tax laws and significant transactions, assessing impact on company, and drafting internal memos to document Company’s tax positions.
  • Reviewing subsidiary unit tax packages for both compliance and financial reporting.
  • Assist in due diligence required in all acquisitions, mergers, and reorganizations.
  • Staying current on significant new Federal and state tax legislation and related financial accounting developments about compliance and tax provision issues that may impact the Company.
