We run weekday classes at schools and nurseries across Worcestershire and weekend classes at our venues in Worcester, Malvern, Wychbold and Rubery.
Our fun, structured play sessions take children on a journey of sporting imagination with engaging and energetic activity leaders and coaches supporting them every step of the way.
You don't need to be a rugby expert or professional coach to work with us. A basic knowledge of the game is useful but confidence, an outgoing personality and the ability to work with young children is what we are looking for.
Full training is provided and we have a comprehensive activity programme for you to work from so you'll always know what to do.
Job Overview
We are seeking a Volunteer Coach to join our team and contribute to the development of our sports programme. This is an unpaid position aimed at individuals passionate about sports coaching and education or wanting to gain first-hand coaching experience to advance their careers.

The main locations you will be working in are Worcester (weekend mornings) - Perdiswell, St John's and / or St Peter's.
Saturday and Sunday mornings every week from 8 : 30-11 : 30. Our weekend classes run year-round, taking short breaks for Easter weekend, Christmas & New Year.
Starting as soon as possible to begin training.
Mix of working indoors and outdoors. Generally working indoors when the weather is poor.

Responsibilities :
- To assist Lead Coaches in running a series of high energy classes for children of various age groups, from 18 months to 7 years of age.
- To engage with children and their families in a friendly and enthusiastic manner.
- To help implement the pre-planned weekly activity programme within the Rugbytots class structure.
Requirements to be a Volunteer Coach at Rugbytots :
- Fun and confident personality.
- Dynamic with lots of enthusiasm.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge of rugby basics - passing, kicking, working as a team (nice to have and would be beneficial).
