Major Duties and Responsibilities :
- Assist in the gathering, organizing, summarizing, and analyzing of financial and operational data from healthcare entities
- Assist in performing complex compensation valuations focused on hospital service line management and co-management arrangements
- Navigate and understand regulatory environment, mechanics of healthcare reimbursement, entity and arrangement types, and overall industry trends and risks
- Track and have a good command of project types and procedures, meet budgets and timelines for each project, and oversee day-to-day flow of multiple projects, keeping Director and client informed of status and challenges
- Write reports in a concise and meaningful manner with correct spelling and grammar
- Communicate and work cooperatively with colleagues
Qualifications, Skills & Abilities :
- Graduate or professional degree in business, healthcare or Juris Doctor (law degree) preferred;
- Experience in hospital / healthcare setting
- Strong interest in healthcare is a must
- Work experience related to accounting, law, healthcare, quality, or risk management
- Strong Excel skills
- Exceptional critical thinking, writing, and verbal communication skills, as position will involve comprehension of written legal documents and interaction with healthcare executives, legal counsel, and other high level client personnel
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and deadline-oriented
- Customer service focus is required
Education and / or Training :
- 4-year undergraduate degree with preferred concentration in accounting, finance, or economics
- Healthcare industry experience highly preferred
