Job Summary
The Ford Quicklane Technician is a entry level position and is responsible for providing maintenance and repair on all vehicles makes and models.
The Technician must have outstanding customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction and proper maintenance of the customer's vehicle.
Compensation & Benefits
This is a full-time, hourly Technician / Skilled Labor / Contractor role in the auto industry, with an annual salary of $19 - $30 per year ($16.50 - $25 per hour).
The position is weekly paid, with additional benefits including paid time off, health insurance coverage, and matching 401(k).
Responsibilities
- Diagnose customer vehicles to determine proper repair / maintenance procedures
- Perform maintenance and repair of customer vehicles
- Perform oil changes, tire rotation, wheel balancing, and brake adjustments, and more, in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines
- Retrieve / store / Record data from / to customer vehicle
- Must adhere to all safety procedures and regulations
- Maintain clean & safe work environment
- Support and comply with all Badger Quick Lane Tire and Auto policies
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Able to pass background check and drug test
- Previous automotive repair / maintenance experience
- Knowledge of Ford's proprietary Webb / CSS diagnostic and repair procedures
- Ability to read and comprehend safety information, service / repair information, and procedure manuals
- Familiarity with automotive computer diagnostics
- Ability to multitask and use time effectively
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
