We are currently seeking a Program and Administrative Support Task Lead with 8+ years of experience to join our team and fully embrace our commitment to deliver, grow and thrive .

This Position is Contingent Upon Award About the Role : As a Preparedness & Outreach Project Manager supporting our Federal government client, you will be trusted to manage the tasks under the direction of the Program Manager.

  • You will provide overall task management : emergency preparedness & resilience portfolio management, development strategy, and execution;
  • project management and planning; client relationship building; stakeholder engagement across state, local, and tribal government partners;

team management; and quality assurance across your assigned task. The Program and Administrative Support Task Lead will lead team and client efforts to use science-based research to connect individuals, organizations, and communities with the information they need to plan and prepare for disasters and emergencies.

Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) : Coordinate and manage all aspects of task area performance (i.e.

technical, contractual, administrative, financial). Quickly establish and foster positive rapport with federal government clients and public safety stakeholders in a professional, creative environment.

Analyze new and complex project-related problems and create innovative solutions that normally involve the schedule, technology, methodology, tools, solution components, and financial management of the project Oversee a team of preparedness subject matter experts and professionals in the development of client preparedness and resilience portfolios to connect individuals, families, communities, and organizations with emergency and disaster preparedness information.

Support strategic program and project management initiatives as directed by the Project Manager. Identifying efficiencies or tools to improve existing / new organizational processes Facilitate and coordinate internal and client meetings Train and administer tasks to junior consultants Carry out our Commitments to Deliver, Grow, and Thrive Location : You will work as part of a dynamic team in metro-accessible Washington, DC.

You may work remotely dependent on contract requirements. Required Experience / Skills : Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university 8+ years of recent and relevant experience managing the subject task in a contract of similar size and scope Previous experience with emergency management and public safety stakeholder engagement Creative thinker with the ability to translate complex information into manageable pieces Receptive to all forms of feedback from clients and colleagues, and proactive to make changes Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance Skilled in problem solving with a flexible approach towards stakeholders Demonstrates an unflappable attitude even when faced with changes or adversity US citizenship and the ability to pass public trust clearance or suitability Preferred Experience / Skills : Master’s degree from an accredited college or university Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Don’t think you have everything for this role but are still very interested?
