We are currentlyseeking Independent Human Resources Consultants for severalpositions HR Coordinators Generalists and HR Directors.

While somework may be done remotely the positions will require working atclient sites in the metro Atlanta area. The Independent HRConsultants are responsible for providing guidance to the HRKSclients with a focus on acquiring developing retaining and whennecessary transitioning employees.

Our services range from HRprojects that achieve organizational intentions to ongoingconsulting services that build and improve our clients culture withtheir organization.

The HR Consultant will have the greatopportunity to work on special projects such as Leadership andDevelopment Coaching Training and Organizational Development andPerformance Management Compliance Management Talent Acquisition andOrganizational Assessments Compensation Benchmark Studies amongmany other areas of service.

Essential Responsibilities :

  • Point of contactand Trusted Advisor to business leaders on matters that areassociated with management on the formulation and administration ofplans and policies for human resource activities.
  • Provides consultative business strategy support to helpalign HR and organizational goals.
  • Uses basicblockandtackle elements of HR to help manage business operationalrisks.
  • Works with clients to assess andcreate workforce planning models.
  • Providesguidance on effective hiring practices that comply with federalstate and local laws.
  • May assist withcompleting phases of talent acquisition to meet the clients hiringrequirements.
  • Works with client and internalHRKS Senior Consultants to complete compensation bench markingstudies.
  • Strategizes with managers andemployees to recommend actions to address issues ornegotiate / resolve conflicts.
  • May conduct exitinterviews as well as coordinate the offboarding process asspecified by the client.
  • Works with clientand internal HRKS team to complete job analysis projects designedto produce effective and relevant job descriptions.
  • May conduct employee relationsinvestigations.
  • May manage client Benefitsand Payroll activities to include providing benefit plan designrecommendations open enrollment coordination 401(k) managementbenefits invoice reconciliation employee benefits questions andpayroll processing and reporting using the clients HRIS.
  • Ensures client is legally compliant by conductingperiodic audits of human resource activities employee policies andprocedures to confirm alignment to federal state and localregulatory requirements.
  • Develops revises andimplements HR policies and procedures.
  • Workswith clients on defining creating and implementing PerformanceManagement programs New Employee Training and Onboarding ProgramsOrganizational Development programs as well as Employee Trainingprograms.
  • Facilitates training sessionsrelated to a catalog of educational opportunities as requested orsuggested to the client.

  • Strongknowledge of Human Resources disciplines andpractices.
  • Must be organized concisedetailed flexible andefficient.
  • Must possess stronginterpersonal skills and an ability to work and communicateeffectively with all levels ofoperations.
  • Knowledge of businessoperations and understanding of businessstrategies.
  • Strong and provenbusiness acumen skills andexperience.
  • Strong and provenexperience in publicspeaking.
  • Proficient in MS OfficeSuite (Excel Outlook PowerPoint &Word).
  • High degree of discretion andjudgment in confidential matters andinformation.
  • Proven knowledge of theart of using interpersonal skills to convince others to share onesperspective or way ofthinking.
  • Ability to transforminformation to make informed decisions and resolveproblems
  • Must be available duringdaytimehours.

Educationand Experience

  • Abachelors degree or equivalent HRrelated experience isrequired.
  • PHR and / or SPHRcertificate Coaching certificate EQI 2.0 / EQ360 certificate aplus.
  • 25 years of experience as anHR Coordinator Generalist or HR Director practitioner within acorporate environment ispreferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong knowledge ofHuman Resources disciplines and practices. Must be organized,concise, detailed, flexible, and efficient.

Must possess stronginterpersonal skills and an ability to work and communicateeffectively with all levels of operations.

Knowledge of businessoperations and understanding of business strategies. Strong andproven business acumen skills and experience.

Strong and provenexperience in public speaking. Proficient in MS Office Suite(Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint & Word). High degree of discretionand judgment in confidential matters and information.

Provenknowledge of the art of using interpersonal skills to convinceothers to share one's perspective or way of thinking.

Ability totransform information to make informed decisions and resolveproblems Must be available during daytime hours. Experience 2-5years of experience as an HR Coordinator, Generalist, or HRDirector practitioner within a corporate environment ispreferred.
