Overview
Job Summary : The Coffee Bar Supervisor at Black Desert Resort is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the café, ensuring that high-quality coffee and tea beverages are crafted while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
This position reports to the Restaurant General Manager and plays a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere, managing the barista team, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Job Responsibilities : Supervise and lead the barista team, ensuring consistent, high-quality beverage preparation and service.
Train new baristas on coffee brewing techniques, equipment operation, and customer service standards. Assist the Restaurant General Manager in scheduling shifts, managing inventory, and ordering supplies.
Monitor café operations, including cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health and safety regulations. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and efficiency.
Ensure accurate and efficient cash and credit card transactions, and assist with daily financial reconciliation. Support the barista team during peak hours by preparing and serving beverages.
Maintain a positive and productive work environment, encouraging teamwork and collaboration among staff. Participate in meetings with the Restaurant General Manager to discuss goals, performance, and areas for improvement.
Lead by example, upholding Black Desert Resort’s standards of excellence in customer service and product quality. Qualifications Preferred Qualifications and Skills : Previous experience as a barista, with a minimum of 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role in a café or hospitality setting.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure, managing multiple tasks and ensuring smooth café operations. Friendly and approachable demeanor with a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
In-depth knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, equipment operation, and product offerings. Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
