About this Opportunity This on-site position provides faculty and client facing support for healthcare simulations and other technical School of Nursing functions.

8 Pre-Employment Screening Requires successful completion of a background check. Position Function Manage, implement, analyze, and support technology-based educational, clinical, and academic systems and projects operated by the School of Nursing, including video recording and video conferencing solutions, high and low-fidelity simulation integration, virtual simulation integration, standardized patient simulation integration, computer-based training modules, network applications, online and blended courses, and partnerships with clinical and interprofessional partners.
Minimum Education Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Minimum Experience At least five years of experience working with :
- Mac and Windows based computers
- Networks
- System installation and configuration
- Servers
- Multimedia applications and troubleshooting
Minimum Other
- Knowledge of various computer platforms and computer software.
- Experience working in a Learning Management System (LMS).

- Experience working in Canvas Learning Management System

Visit the following link to learn more : IN Indiana Duties & Responsibilities Ranking 1 Job Duty Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for School of Nursing faculty, staff, administrators, students, and associated university technical support, and clinical and interprofessional partners via phone, e-mail, in person, videoconference, and via remote assistance.
- Ranking 2 Job Duty Serve as a product specialist for learning management technologies and other applications used to support teaching and learning, simulation products and equipment, network applications, telehealth, and clinical encounter and scheduling software;
- includes providing supervision to graduate assistants and student workers supporting these applications to assist with issues they cannot solve;
provide training and support for these applications to faculty, staff, students, administrators, and clinical partners. Ranking 3 Job Duty Manage, maintain, program, schedule, and coordinate the use and course integration of the high and low fidelity patient simulators and virtual environments / simulations.
This includes telemedicine equipment and maintenance, use, and ability to troubleshoot both the simulators and the equipment that controls them.
Ranking 4 Job Duty Manage, maintain, coordinate, and support the use of video recording solutions; includes recording simulations, lectures, presentations, volunteer patients, and other media elements for students, faculty, staff, administrators and clinical partners.
Ranking 5 Job Duty Serve as backup to Interprofessional Community Clinics Technology and Video Systems Specialist for electronic health records and other technology;
obtain American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification, and ensure continued maintenance of credential. Ranking 6 Job Duty Support Senior Technical Specialist & Analyst and NSITC Director in planning schedules, preparing operation and budgetary reports, developing and specifying policies and procedures, and designing information guides.
Ranking 7 Job Duty Interview, hire, train, and supervise undergraduate and graduate student employees that work at the SITC;
assign workflow to undergraduate and graduate student workers; oversee quality of work. Ranking 8 Job Duty Install, support, maintain, configure, and secure hardware for faculty, staff, administrators, and student employees and SITC computers.
Ranking 9 Job Duty Monitor, maintain, support, administer, backup, and update the department’s software; includes coordinating School systems with University systems, such as the print management system.
Ranking 10 Job Duty Manage, maintain, and design the School of Nursing’s website, multimedia content, and related online materials.
Ranking 11 Job Duty Research, test, evaluate, and recommend emerging computer and information technologies for use within the School of Nursing and maintain current knowledge of emerging hardware, software, and communication technologies.
Ranking 12 Job Duty Maintain, configure, perform, and participate in SITC evaluations, surveys, and reports needed for School of Nursing reporting functions.
Ranking 13 Job Duty Maintain regular and predictable attendance. Ranking 14 Job Duty Perform other related duties as assigned.
