Hours : Full Time (40 Hours Weekly) Day Shift
Residency : Graduates hired directly from a Surgical Technology Program without work experience will complete an onboarding process lasting at least 6 months.
Works with surgeons, Anesthesiologists, RN's, and other surgical personnel in delivering patient care during surgery. Works with a preceptor and assumes increased responsibility during the residency, the surgical tech resident is accountable for handling instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure, anticipates the needs of the surgeon in providing these, and maintains a sterile environment.

Required Qualifications :
- Completion of a Surgical Technology program through the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Program (CAAHEP) or Accreditation Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or graduated from a Surgical Technology Military Training program.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
