Are you passionate about electric circuits and power systems and want to be a part of the future of transportation? We are seeking a High Voltage Electrical Test Engineer to join our state-of-the-art capacitor-powered high voltage lab team for testing automotive fuses and other circuit protection devices!

As a High Voltage Test Engineer , you will be responsible for testing and evaluating the performance of our cutting-edge circuit protection devices for automotive applications.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and collaborate closely with a team of talented engineers to develop the latest advancements in automotive circuit protection device technologies.

Responsibilities :

Develop test plans, procedures, and protocols for cutting-edge new and existing circuit protection devices for automotive applications.

Execute high-voltage electrical and short circuit tests to evaluate performance, safety and durability of fuses and other circuit protection products.

Analyze and interpret test data and waveforms and create comprehensive test reports.

Be the technical expert for the design of any improvements in the Capacitor Discharge Lab.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and improve testing methods for automotive applications.

Participate in design reviews and provide technical feedback to product development teams.

Perform preventative maintenance on the test equipment, maintain safety procedures, update risk assessments and operating procedures for the Capacitor Discharge Lab.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

In depth knowledge of electrical circuits, power systems and ability to interpret schematics.

Hands-on experience in operation of oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.

Knowledge of PLCs preferred.

Ability to identify and implement efficient paths of action to complete assigned tasks.

Ability to operate well independently or as a team member in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with Labview (or other automation software) preferred.

Experience with Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, word, power point

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
