Job Title : Operating Room RN
Location : Hartsville, SC 29550
Salary : $65,000 - $100,000 (depending on experience)
Position Overview :
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our surgical team in Hartsville, SC.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in perioperative nursing, providing high-quality care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
This role requires a team-oriented individual who is committed to delivering excellence in patient safety and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide direct nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgery, ensuring a safe and sterile environment in the operating room.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to ensure that surgical procedures run smoothly and efficiently.
Prepare and maintain the operating room for scheduled procedures, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and condition during surgery, making adjustments as necessary to ensure patient safety.
Follow all aseptic and sterile techniques to prevent infection and maintain a controlled surgical environment.
Provide post-operative care and education to patients and their families, addressing any concerns or questions.
Document patient care accurately and timely in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
Must-Haves :
SC Nursing License : Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of South Carolina.
Experience : At least one year of experience in the Operating Room (OR) setting.
Relocation : Must be willing to relocate to Hartsville, SC, or live in a nearby area.
Qualifications :
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program.
Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and aseptic techniques.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a fast-paced, team environment.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and a calm demeanor.
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications :
Previous experience in a hospital surgical setting or outpatient surgery center.
CNOR certification (Certified Perioperative Nurse) is a plus.
