PART-TIME INDEPENDENT LIVING MENTOR - MONROE COUNTY, PA Mentor JusticeWorks is seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Independent Living Mentor.
In this role, you will be responsible for building relationships and providing guidance to our youth. You will empower them to reach their highest potential by providing them with the tools and resources necessary to develop life skills, create meaningful connections, and pursue meaningful pathways.
Your passion for motivating and inspiring youth will be essential to their success. If you are passionate about working in the fields of Social Services, Child Welfare and Juvenile Justice, we would love to have you as part of our team! JusticeWorks YouthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
The qualified Independent Living Mentor will have :
- High School Diploma.
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and access to a vehicle.
- Pass current, applicable clearances.
- Pass pre-employment, post-offer drug screening.
The qualified Independent Living Mentor will :
- Communicate and maintain relationships with county workers, families and community providers.
- Follow up as needed for to determine appropriate courses of action.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of service provision.
- Participate in events with the mentee.
- Transport clients utilizing personal vehicle, as necessary.
