The Manufacturing Technician I is responsible for assembling mechanical and optical components. You will be a part of the Production Operations Team and responsible for working to assemble scanners and related products.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to :
Follow written procedures and perform all steps required to assemble Aperio Digital Pathology scanners and related products.
Tasks may include, but are not limited to :
o Electro-mechanical assembly
o Routing of cable and harness assemblies
o Building of optical sub-assemblies
o Visual and mechanical inspections of components and assemblies.
o Installing software
Perform basic troubleshooting
Identify proper focus of optical assemblies viewing through eyepiece or on computer monitor.
Complete related paperwork
The essential requirements of the job include :
High School diploma or equivalent or in lieu of High School diploma, willing to accept 2+ years work experience in a manufacturing environment.
Basic computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Google docs).
Ability to learn and understand technical information related to our products offered.
Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 25 lb
