Description
- Performs surface preparation of floors, sheetrock, plaster, metal, and wood.
- Applies sheetrock joint taping compound.
- Repairs wall damage and installs wall protection.
- Handles the application of all types of interior and exterior painting.
- Assists with repairs to fire and smoke barriers, including use of approved fire stop systems.
- Cleans and maintains brushes and other painting equipment.
- Operates boom and platform lifts as needed.
- Erects and dismantles minor scaffolding for interior and exterior painting jobs.
- Performs all assigned tasks in a timely and cost effective manner.
- Assists with scheduling and completes projects according to plans.
- Responsible for conducting good housekeeping measures to promote safety.
- Responsible for attending lead removal training and following all procedures for the safe removal of lead.
- Follows AMC policies and procedures and adheres to center safety policies and regulations.
Job Requirements :
- Minimum high diploma or equivalent certificate and
- A minimum of three (3) years experience in all types of interior and exterior painting, staining, and wall repair and preparation.
