Regional Logistics Engineer

Your Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize material flow within plant / warehouse, implementing necessary redesigns and enforcing changes.
• Design and optimize processes for receiving, storing, commissioning, and dispatching materials.
• Implement and support supplier consignment projects, ensuring compliance with Schaeffler guidelines.
• Monitor and support cycle counts and wall-to-wall inventory, ensuring adherence to company standards.
• Oversee shop order closing for financial accuracy and reporting, serving as regional Key User for material flow and logistics.
• Maintain up-to-date global / regional key indicators, liaising with production, planners, and controlling to identify and rectify errors.
• Run variance reports, maintain KPIs, and analyze causes of errors, taking steps to minimize future occurrences.
• Escalate issues to Master Planner and Production Management as needed.
• Provide day-to-day direction and technical support to Shop Floor Controllers and material management teams.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business-related field.
• 1+ year(s) experience in Shop Floor Controlling & material management or similar role.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities and lean knowledge.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, analytical thinking, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
