Job Description Operations Manager

Primary Responsibility is to strategize and improve performance, material procurement and resources.Expectations / Responsibilities :

Coordination

  • Review and correct all employee timecards prior to payroll being processed
  • High-level scheduling
  • Review and coordinate all necessary needs for material and equipment
  • Resource Management

Employee Engagement

  • Interview, hire, terminate employees
  • Give a fair and honest assessment and evaluation of any Cosand employee
  • Communicate with employees if a development program is necessary
  • Training
  • Conflict Resolution
  • Accountability for Project Management & Superintendent

Tools / Equipment / Safety

  • Safely work in all conditions when onsite
  • Maintain records and certifications
  • High level equipment coordination
  • Approve equipment, material, inventory and purchases
  • Approve all equipment rental and manpower needed for job
  • Training

Project Management

  • Reviewing bids and estimates based on need and schedule
  • High level review analysis
  • Attend project review meetings
  • Performance reviews on subcontractors
  • Additional tasks may be required by order of President / CEO

The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, organized, dependable, and productive. The candidate must be able to work independently with minimal direction and oversight, but also collaborate effectively.

The candidate must develop a broad understanding of the business, comprehend established best practices, and be dedicated to meeting the high level of customer service expected of all members of Cosand Construction.

Adaptability to constantly shifting priorities and comfortability with change is required to execute a multitude of transactions.

Creativity and ingenuity are desired for continuous enhancements and improvements in the role.

  • Ideal Candidate Requirements :

Qualifications

  • Acts with integrity and professionalism.
  • Education Bachelors or Associates Degree in Construction, Engineering, or Business Preferred
  • Experience as an Operations Manager or Project Manager Preferred
  • A basic understanding of Standard and Metric measurement systems is preferred.
  • Ability to lead projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others.
  • Detail oriented in the execution and follow-up of work.
  • Takes accountability for performance and results.
  • Ability to manage a budget and apply financial acumen.
  • Ability to effectively manage and lead change.

Training :

All Cosand employees will be trained to their level of employment and safety requirements, this will include on the job training as well as classroom training when it applies.

Cosand Construction will provide all safety equipment and PPE that is needed for the task at hand.

Compensation & Benefits :

  • Compensation (A competitive package will be offered for the right candidate) :
  • Base : $90,000.00 - $110,000.00+ / yr
  • Bonus : Profit Sharing based on the company hitting or exceeding targets.
