We are currently seeking an Internal Audit Consultant for our client in the Professional Services domain. We value our professionals, providing comprehensive benefits and the opportunity for growth.

This is a Contract position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Duration : 6+ Months Contract

Location : Remote (Washington, DC)

Salary : $65.00-$75.00 / Hourly (Negotiable-Can be discussed over the phone)

Role : Internal Audit Consultant

Primary Skills : Finance Accounting (FI)

Role Description : The Internal Audit Consultant must have 6+ years of experience.

Required Experience and Skills :

• Must know IM (Investment Management) governance and best practices to challenge the operating model / governance structure, including reporting.
• Strong IM operational controls testing (TOD and TOE) must know what a good RCM looks like, be able to test controls and challenge the control makeup / bring best practices.
• Experience looking into governance structure of investment and trust accounts Internal audit with background in investment banking.

Assistance to Evaluate :

The governance arrangements of the IA and TA, specifically whether the existing governance structure is appropriate, whether potential conflicts of interests are managed, whether appropriate reporting is in place up to the IM committee / Board and related operational aspects.

Within that scope, they are interested in assessing the design of controls and potentially operational effectiveness of higher risk controls.

There are approximately 10-12 controls (e.g., oversight of external managers and custodians, operational due diligence when hiring managers and custodians, cash management, access management / SODs, fraud controls, etc.).

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent.

Experience : Minimum 6+ years of experience.

Relocation : This position will not cover relocation expenses.

Travel : No.

Local Preferred : Yes.

Note : Must be able to work on a W2 basis (No C2C).
