The Sewing Machine Operator will be working with the production team to ensure the manufacturing process is completed in a timely manner.
The Sewing Machine Operator will be accountable for the following but not limited to just these responsibilities.
Responsibilities :
- Measure and cut accurately
- Sew fabrics using all sewing machines as necessary
- Calculate material requirements
- Willing to sew on all fabrics
- Ability to read and interpret job ticket that is in English
- Ability to write and speak English sufficient to communicate about work related job ticket
- Ability to read understand and pass pertinent internal hiring tests
- Ability to maintain clean and safe work environment
- Ability to learn new job functions as required
Qualifications :
- Sewing experience with prior industrial sewing experience preferred
- Ability to manually cut material
- Ability to follow instructions
- Attention to detail
- Ability to think 3-5 steps ahead in a project
- Strong math skills
- Great communication
