Job Summary :
Plan daily production activities for the consumables production lines for handheld explosives detectors by leading and overseeing the work of a staff of up to 10 employees.
Maintain a production priority list based on monitoring production against forecast and sales orders. Make work cell staffing decisions per line assignments, loads, and attendance.
Create work orders and track production schedules and report production status.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities :
- Plan daily production activities and direct staff assignments
- Monitor sales orders and forecasts to set production priorities
- Create work orders and track productivity and yields
- Direct supervision of staff assigned to the Consumables production work cells
- Work with purchasing and shipping / receiving to ensure material flow meets production and sales order deliveries
- Report production line status, schedules and plans to management
- Ensure production protocols and procedures are being followed and product quality standards are met
- Monitor production equipment and work cells for proper preventative maintenance and repairs
- Report and resolve production line issues
Job Qualifications : Required
- Minimum Associates Degree in a relevant field required
- 5+ years experience process operation manufacturing background required
- 3+ years experience production floor supervision required
- 1+ years experience in quality control protocols required
Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.
S. Departments of State or Commerce.
