Job Description
The logistics specialist will be directly involved in the planning and procurement activities for various production materials and will act as SAP key user for one of the logistic-relevant SAP R / 3 modules.
Furthermore, she / he may be responsible for the design and implementation of a new physical process for the (potentially external) refurbishment and cleaning of production assets using the lean principles of Bosch.
The logistics specialist may also be involved in custom-related activities as part of a future on-site free trade zone.
Responsibilities
- Shaping the future processes in the logistics area in cooperation with various divisions.
- She / he will be a member of our Global Logistics Organization supporting the development, implementation, and management of strategies to provide optimal solutions.
- Support the transformation of existing processes into future-oriented processes by using the latest logistics and IT solutions.
- Proactively drive the planning and procurement activities for various production materials
- Act as a SAP key user for at least one of the logistic-relevant SAP modules
- Design and implement a new physical process for the (potentially external) refurbishment and cleaning of production assets using the lean principles of Bosch
- Support the management of a potential future on-site free trade zone
- Actively contribute to the continuous improvement process in the logistics area

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics or related field; ideally with a specialization in Logistics
- 5 years of relevant work experience in an operations environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced SAP / R3 skills required; ideally with experience in logistics-related SAP modules
- Advanced knowhow of Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, PPT)
- Previous work experience in purchasing
- Experience in a complex manufacturing environment
- A proven self-motivated, conscientious, team player with business acumen.
- Hands-on mentality with the willingness to flexibly work on new tasks in a dynamic environment
- Strong communications skills with a team player focus on collaboration
Additional Information
- This role will work on site in Roseville, CA.
- This position works Monday- Friday, additional hours as necessary.

Culture and Benefits Bosch in the USA
The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $78,000 - $92,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
